Ecosystems - Connectivity - People
One Forest Network works to restore and protect the natural heritage of the Northern Appalachian-Acadian ecoregion of Canada, ranging from Québec to Nova Scotia.
We accomplish this mission through partnerships with multiple stakeholders located across the region. Our work focuses on developing and increasing access to scientific knowledge, providing tools, and by creating spaces for dialogue between those working in the space. Our focus areas include increasing ecological connectivity at the landscape scale, idenitifying priority areas for conservation and monitoring trends in conservation priorities.
These measures support on-the-ground conservation projects, inform land-users, and contribute to improved natural resource policies.
